Why I Write
I’ve always loved stories that make you want to disappear into them for a while. Sometimes that’s a huge fantasy world with its own rules, history, monsters, and mysteries. Sometimes it’s a single unsettling idea that keeps getting worse for twenty pages.
I like mysteries that actually lead somewhere, worlds that feel bigger the longer you spend in them, and characters who have to earn their way through whatever gets thrown at them.
Mostly, I want to write the kind of stories that make you say one more chapter when you really should be going to bed.
